As we approached Reykjavík on day twenty-five, we
watched Zuiderdam docking. It was fascinating to see
the longshore workers assisting the huge ship into port.

Sue, Pegi and Eric are taking an excursion to see sights
from ​around Reykjavík called Best of the Golden Circle but I preferred
to tour the city by myself. I do not like the long bus rides and am more
                                                                    interested in seeing local sights.

                                                                    I waved to them as their bus left
                                                                    the terminal as I waiting for a
                                                                    shuttle bus to take me to the Harpa Center (to which I                                                                              returned after my walk). Meanwhile, the bus excursion will
                                                                               take the others to Þingvellir National Park with it's                                                                                   waterfalls and
                                                                               geysirs. They also
                                                                               stopped at a horse
                                                                               farm and a short
                                                                               stop at the
                                                                               Hellisheiði power
                                                                               plant.

As for my adventure, I walked from the Harpa Center toward
                                                                                  Hallgrímskirkja, which is a famous church and                                                                                          landmark. I wanted to find OTO, the restaurant                                                                                        where Sue and I will go tomorrow night. I walked
                                                                                  past the  Lebowski Bar (The Dude Abides). I
                                                                                  reached the church
                                                                                  and went to the top to
                                                                                  get a 360º view of the
                                                                                  city (clockwise, top
                                                                                  right, east->west).
